# NOVA > NOVA is the trading name of NOVA ENTERPRISE LIMITED, a New Zealand company (NZBN 9429052611193) that makes AI software for people who run a business. Its main product is JENA by NOVA, a Windows app that gives a business a team of AI employees. It also makes Mini NOVA by NOVA, an AI screen assistant for Windows, and NOVA Ink, writing help for Chrome and Edge. NOVA is not related to Amazon Nova or the Novation MiniNova synthesizer, and JENA by NOVA is not related to Apache Jena or jena.so. ## JENA: key facts - JENA by NOVA is a Windows app for building a team of AI employees. It is on the Microsoft Store (https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9N8ZLB7JVBLV, Store ID 9N8ZLB7JVBLV), published by NOVA ENTERPRISE LIMITED, and the Store keeps it up to date. - Each AI employee has a name, a job title, skills and the owner's instructions. There are 12 ready-made roles covering areas such as research, marketing, sales, customer support, operations, finance and executive assistance. - You give work in plain words, like briefing a colleague. JENA plans the job, splits it into tasks and shares them between employees. - Anything that sends an email, posts online or spends money waits for the owner's approval. Every action is recorded, and the owner chooses which apps each employee can use. - JENA connects to 36 apps, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, Slack, Notion, Xero, HubSpot, Shopify and Stripe. - JENA's office view shows which employee is working on what. It shares the NOVA account with Mini NOVA. - Fix as you type: spelling is checked on the device as you type; after a pause, the sentence being typed is checked for grammar. Click the underline or press Tab to apply a fix, and Ctrl+Z undoes it. Fixes change wording, never meaning, names, numbers or dates. A personal dictionary keeps your own words. - Highlight text to rewrite it Clearer, Shorter, More formal or More natural, summarize it, translate it into 12 languages, or ask a question about it. Nothing changes until you press Replace. It shows the tone of your writing in one word, with one-tap tone chips (Friendly, Confident, Direct) and clarity hints. - In Gmail, Draft reply writes a reply from the last 3 messages in the thread; make it Shorter, Warmer or Firmer, then press Insert. Check before Send flags issues before an email goes out. NOVA Ink never presses Send or submits a form. - In Google Docs, spelling is underlined with no setup, and nothing leaves the device until you accept a fix or pick an action. In Google Sheets, it spots formula errors such as #N/A and #REF!, explains them and applies the fix in the cell. - Find sources: highlight a claim to get real published papers from Crossref and OpenAlex, never made-up references, and copy the citation in APA 7, MLA 9 or Chicago 18. Only a few search terms leave the browser, straight to those databases. - The natural check scores writing on the device and shows why it sounds stiff (stock phrases, filler openers, hedging, same-length sentences). It is a writing style check, not an AI detector. - Privacy: spelling, the natural check, tone and Sheets formula checks run on the device. Text is sent only to give a result the user asked for, or the sentence being typed while fix as you type is on. NOVA's servers don't store the text, and it is never used to train AI models.
